Zacuto Axis Mini and other EVF mount solutions

I'm on the lookout for an EVF mount for use with my A7s and Movcam Cage. I have a SmallHD 502 with Sidefinder that I'd like to attach ideally directly to the existing front rod mount on the Movcam cage. I have the camera and cage mounted onto the Zacuto Universal Baseplate and I'm considering the Zacuto Axis Mini (with an Arri rosette added to the Sidefinder), however I'm not sure if it has enough length in order to sit comfortably with the camera quite far back for balance. Has anyone got a similar set up or know of any other mounts worth considering? I've also looked at the Wooden Camera UVF v2, however would require the extension arm by the looks of it and that's where it starts to get expensive.

Have you looked at the Solid Camera EVF mount system? I used to use that on my C300 with an Alphatron before I switched things up and went Graticle/Axis Mini/Helmet.
 
The max length from center of rosette on one end to center of rod on the other is 5.5 inches. I hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any questions.
 
I have both Sidefinder and Gratical. Did reviews on them. I also found some good mounting solutions with SmallRig parts. The are inexpensive and seem to work well. I also have the Movcam cage with 15mm rail mount in the front.
 
Anyone know how the Axis mini work on the FS7? Can it be swinged into a locked compact position when the camera is placed in a case or bag? Is it easy to adjust or are all the knobs annoying to fiddle with?
