OK I don't normally start a thread just to praise a company but on this occassion, take a bow Zacuto. I have seen their ads on here and decided to have a look around their online store. After spending an hour or so going through all their gear, I decided to make a purchase with them.
I ordered the base plate, red plate, noga arm for my Marshall monitor, 12 inch rods, the double mount with 10 inch rods and a wireless plate.
Total was about $1400. I placed the order last Wednesday and they contacted me an hour later to tell me the Noga arm was out of stock but a shipment was due in the next day. And true to their word I got email confirmation that the shipment had been sent and Fedex were on their way to me.
Well I got a call on Saturday from Fedex telling me I was to pay £163 duty and VAT before they would deliver, but they are now with me and all I can say is, the quality of this gear is truly superb. The base plate is a joy to behold and I am going to be very sorry when it gets its first scratches! Lightweight and beautifully engineered. Well done to Zacuto.
Just one thing. I found the rods, when joined together, were not long enough for my M2 and a Vocas MB350 mattebox. So today I placed an order for a few more bits, and yes I have already received info that the gear is on its way.
I can only highly recommend Zacuto and their service.
