This is definitely a very different camera than the Z Camera E1 that I bought when B&H had it on special for $200. In the video they mention that they'll be releasing a newer firmware to the E1.

Interesting, surprised it isn't able to be powered by Power over Ethernet. Monitoring is going to be the hard part, needs an external monitor or wifi app to see what you are doing. But at 120fps in 4K (assuming UHD) it could make a heck of an action cam for the next Michael Bay movie.

The E2 can do 120 fps in DCI 4K or UHD. I'm curious about DR and rolling shutter. I assume they are comparable to the GH5's.

They intend to implement ProResRAW in the future.

The badly designed gamma curve can easily kill four stops of DR, so, even if they have the same sensor, as long as they are not shooting raw, DR can be completely different.
