YOUTUBE quality problem

I have uploaded several of my vids to youtube with good compression and they look fine. However, the some films and films that open on black with white titles get completely messed up the first five seconds. Basically it is a scrambled grey screen until the good quality dissolves in. Has anybody else had a problem with this? Do you have a solution? I compressed with iMovie on my Powerbook Mac. I saved as MP4 with the correct settings. They play perfectly on my Quicktime. But the exact same vid on youtube get's messed up in the opening somehow.

I hate to revive an old thread, because I know some boards frown on it, but I came across this thread looking for help and saw that there was no reply. I feel I'm doing the right thing by posting the cure for my troubles I found with this issue at Ken Stone's FCP.

I followed the instructions I found on this page and It solved my problem. Now granted you have to have compressor, but since most people on this board are at least pro-amateurs (does that even exist?), most of you probably have a final cut studio suite, or hopefully access. I hope this helps some people.
