Youtube audio out of sync, what should i do?

[tomperson]

Hi all,
I just uploaded a 5 minute music clip to youtube. It was encoded as mainconcept mp4, 1280x720 25p. Now, when i watch the video in the standard youtube player (didn't even care to test HD) by the end of the clip audio is totally out of sync. Big time. At least 15 seconds off.

Is this a known issue? What could be the problem?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Could be due to many different things:

(a) is the original video in sync?

what format are you using for the audio stream?

and is it contant bit rate or variable bit rate (I'm talking about the audio)

Try uisng a constant bit rate for your audio stream.

The original video is obviously in sync. I'll take a look at the audio section, to see if its vbr or not, don't remember (i left it as it was by default).
