i just got the following today:

Still, We Believe: The Boston Red Sox Movie
Jay-Z: Fade to Black

Both were made with a dvx-100, so i wanted to check them out.

also A Day Without a Mexican was made with the cam too, so i just added it to my que.

I want to make docs so i think these will help see what has and can be done with the dvx

I liked it very much, especially the first half. It had a very dry sense of humor.

There is an odd tone shift in the second half and the ending wasn't as satisfying as I hoped.

Still it was a great film and I definitely recommend it,

okay, i finished seeing these:

Still, We Believe: The Boston Red Sox Movie
Jay-Z: Fade to Black

and disliked them both. i'm not a fan of the rapper of the baseball team, and rented them to check out how the dvx performed.

but as docs i have to say they were pretty bad. on still we believe i really disliked the editing decisions.

just saw Carandiru last night for the first time. omg the cinematography was amazing. the interiors of the prison just screamed talent. a real master of lighting.
