For those of you involved in audio post, what is your favorite buy out whoosh, boom, crash, etc. sound effects disc? You know, all of the stuff you need for graphics bumpers, white pop flashes, trrailer type hits and pops, etc.? I make a lot of this stuff from scratch but lately it has just been too time consuming, I need to just buy a small collection of them and be done with it.

Thanks!

I'm mostly narrative films so I don't need much in the way of bumpers etc. 99% of the time for all of the above I create/ record them or pull ones I have done in the past. It's hard to beat "The Works" for mechanical everything. And Digital Juice has a LOT of broadcast types of whooshes in each of their SFX libraries. They have been putting them on sale latly in the $100-$200 range (50 gigs or so of sounds).

Thanks Noiz. I will check their library out as well. I prefer to make my own but I don't have ProTools, just FCP and STP and it is tedious to try to create and modify them with these audio limited apps. Much nicer to just open them and use them.
