Your dailies on PSP is amazing!

So, in Studio Monthly this month, there was a crew of people shooting something who wanted to load all of their dailies onto their ipods for the director to have with him at all times for reference and continuity issues. They had a few problems doing it and it wasn't simple and easy to do.
So I started reading on the net about how the Sony PSP will play h.264 video.
Aroused, I went to my computer and saw that in Vegas there is a tool to very easily and in one step convert your hd (or sd) files right off the timeline straight into a PSP.
I went out and bought a PSP ($169) and a 4 gb card. I can't tell you how fast and easy this is! The dailies really do look gorgeous on the screen and it was so freakin' easy and quick. Much easier than the crew in the magazine. Ask me how much I love Vegas. With the 4 gb card, I can hold over 17 hours of video.
I highly recommend this method if you're interested. So automatic!
Also, with the PSP, you can browse the internet, unlike the ipod. Of course you need to be in range of wifi hotspots or networks, but it really does work.

Thats cool.

Although making an ipod-ready video in FCPro is pretty easy, in other apps you might have to jump through a few more hoops.

Is the video 320x240 for the PSP?
