Yeah I wouldn't make a movie with a DSLR personally. I know that seems to be the "in" thing in the indie world right now but it's not very professional.

That being said, I really love the quality of the Canon 5D and we employed it in my first feature for all of our "home video footage" segments. There were only a few such scenes, and I don't think they'll be full-screened for the most part, they were played back mostly within a scene filmed on the RED One, but it just seemed like overkill to film footage that was meant to be home video footage on the RED. So the 5D worked to give us good quality but not over-the-top quality.
