You know what makes me sad?

Is that even if I do get lucky/get to know the right people and become a big director by the age of 30, I won't have the chance to work with the best actors of our time/my favorites (al pacing, de niro, val kilmer)

And even if they still are acting at that age the only roles they'll be playing is grampa bill or "old man in bed"

Something that hit me a few weeks ago that relates to this:
All the great actors/actresses of our time are nearing their end. Soon they'll be replaced with the young guns of today...

Well, if that's the most saddening thing you have to deal with, you're ahead of about 99% of the rest of the people on the planet.

My favorite stars tend to be the youngsters. For some reason I have no interest in working with names like Al Pacino of Val Kilmer. Not one "old" actor interests me at all. Not sure if it's because they are TOO well known, or because they just feel like they're connected to the old hollywood system.

Though Liam Neeson I'd love to work with...

I would love to work with Kim Bodnia and Mads Mikkelsen and many other actors I cant think of right now (mind blank).

There WILL be others like De Niro, Keitel etc.
