Definitely Abbott and Costello. I had been cutting with an editor here in L.A. named Billy Abbott. After about 2 years of working together, I looked on the wall of his studio and there was a picture of a little boy sitting on Bud Abbott's lap. Both Lou Costello and Bud Abbott were dressed in space outfits from their film "Abbott and Costello go to Mars." I asked what the significance of the picture was. He told me that it was a picture of him and his dad. Ah...Billy "Abbott". The light bulb went on.
Byt eh way, the "Who's on First" routine goes on for about 5 minutes - and never drags. A classic!
