Yet Another Squeeze Mode question

I have searched through the various posts about editing squeezed footage (DVX100A) in FCP; (I've learned that I want to check out this photozoom pro program and just shoot regular 4:3 and uprezz it, rather than squeeze or letterbox).

But I have a few questions about output, and I'm hoping someone can send me to a post that answers them (or just answer them for me).

What is the best way to output an anamorphic project to DVD (what Quicktime settings to use? what other means of compression?); what about for web streaming? and if I can get a quicktime to recognize the 16:9, how will it come out looking on a regular 4:3 tv? will the sides of the frame just be clipped?

Might I suggest Instant HD for the uprez. I never used it for an actual uprez to HD, but I did use it for a 4:3 crop to 16:9 and it worked out well. Its results arent much different to the photozoom method and its much faster. Id suggest for a SD output you wont see any difference.
