Over in film discussion there was a thread on an article about Michael Moore that I was just starting to enjoy and Wham...The big lock. I don't see where it was going wrong can someone please explain what happened?
I didn't lock it down, but thanks for pointing it out because I did delete it. Michael Moore threads aren't allowed on DVXuser.com since they've almost caused the whole board to melt down on several occasions (including threats of physical violence). Trust me, you don't want to know each other's political views. I love a good political discussion, but it's never worked out here.

I'll support that from Barry S. Jerry X Check feels the need to start political minded posts whenever he can. Tongue (No dis on you Jerry)
I guess that's why we keep him chained to a tree up here in Canada and place a keyboard six feet in front of the guy, then we allow him a six foot stick to type...And absolutely no mouse ;D
Honestly wasnt taking a jab at Jerry (hope he sees this). But, he does love politics! As do I (discussing anyway). The probalem is, is that I am laways right and everyone else is whack. Its weird.
Yes and he lives to close to me for my poking. Sorry Jerry...All in fun eh. I tried to stick up for your post lockdown Jerry...I'm not so bad............Jerry?

I believe it is the almighty virgin mary, or was it jesus grilled chesse that was up on Ebay. I fine religious icon. Opps is that too close to political. Tiptoeing out of here.
In Fairness to Jerry, he was specifically talking about how various filmmaking techniques can be used to further a specific point of view. He was using MM as an example of those techniques as laid out in an admittedly biased article (we were warned about the bias by Jerry). I personally think that it is horribly disappointing that adults cannot separate their views from an objective and possibly educational discussion on filmmaking techniques. :'(
