We have all seen the glidecams that attach to the suit and all that good stuf...
But what about a glidecam-tripod-vest combo?
And I am not talking about popping off of one plate onto another....
I am talk about making the glidecam an actual modular part of the tripod with a release system that you can pop the WHOLE glidecam in or out of the tripod. That way you can blalance the glidecame...pop it in the tripod if need be, and pop it right back out if you need to do some smooth moving shots.
The gimbal bearing would be you left and right, and there fore you would have antoher system for you up and down. (That would be locked down while you are using the actual glide cam)
It would also have the hookup for the vest...
I may be crazy. But I think this is do-able.. I guess I better spin up AutoCad to help with this..
