Yesterday vs Today

[David Jimerson]

It's a little bit facetious, but the script is the same.

Hey! It just occurred to me that both of those later movies star Thandie Newton.

Um...er...it's a remake of Here Comes Mr. Jordan, not Heaven Can Wait.

Of course it was...:embarasse

Peckinpah's The Getaway (1972) with Steve McQueen and Ali McGraw makes the 1994 The Getaway (with Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger) look like child's play. No contest, Peckinpah wins hands down!

WHO COULD MATCH McQUEEN!?:love4:

[Blaine]

McQueen has some GREAT movies and the younger audience, who may not have had a chance to see him in action should check out:

The Sand Pebbles (maybe his best)
Sam Horn
Papillon
The Great Escape
The Cincinnati Kit
Bullitt
The Thomas Crown Affair
The Getaway
The Magnificent Seven

and for those who love foreign style films: An Enemy of the People (from a play by Henrik Ibsen)

The getaway.... I love that alcoholic, drunken bastard, Peckinpah.
