I just spotted the EASTER EGG in FCP 5. I thought I was losing my mind. but I just saw it run away. I was just staring at it until I moved the mouse -it then ran away.
I did a little research and there are rumors about a YAK chewing up your timeline? anyone else see this? I didn't see it chew my timeline, but it did runaway after staring back at me for a bit.

sorry if this has been dicussed many times. I just thought it was facinating.

If you scroll to the bottom of the comments section of that page there are instructions on how to get "Bruce" the yak to come out on command.

Apparently it's been included in FCP for quite a few generations now.

That is just TOO FUNNY. I just tried it and watched him eating grass off my timeline.

It is just awesome, Some coder put it in, in the early days, and now it is just to be expected, they just leave that code in.
