So I finally got enough money for a tripod I bought Bogen Manfotto 516, 117B. Looks great very solid Head very fluid, guess why they call it a fluid head. Hope to have a Red rock Follow focus with in the next two weeks. More pictures to follow

nice man. Though I mainly use the LEX with the Z7, I shot with it mounted to a DVX the other week, got a great image!
 
Id like a Z7, i can afford a new camera right now, i'd share the story about how im getting screwed over by the gov. Im on dissability, Broke my back, learned to walk again. But cant work. Long story But the DVX does me well. The monitor is a DVD screen It plays in 16:9 and 3:4 and in order for it to correctly display the video i play it in 3:4. I found it on Ebay Its called LCD screen thats the brand name. I found a battery pack that could power it and bought a mounting arm from B & H. I didnt need anything fancy for the DVX when i might by HD cam in the next year and get a marshall or lillyput.
 
That's a nice looking rig. What resolution is the monitor? Best of luck in healing up and getting back in the swing of things.
