XLR inputs Linelevel or Miclevel?

No amp needed so, just plug and play, sweet!
Is the miclevel gain setting ok or variable?
Should work nice with my Akg studio omni then for small acoustic music recordings on the road... I'll hang the mic from above and move around shooting the musicians.

The gain controls work like they do on any preamp... gotta set 'em right, and be careful of peaking. Don't forget your phantom power...
