XLR- Distance

Ok i am poor. and cannot afford a wireless unit now. But i can afford 2 long XLR cables. ( 2 X 30'). If i connect them end to end and hook it into my AT897 => DVX will my sound be all screwed? I would test it, but i cant because i want ot know if it will work before i buy the cables. if it will screw up the sound badly, i guess i need a Wireless unit. Just asking beforei spend Prcious money.

you will be just fine. just make sure to get some good cables if you are going to be moving around and wraping them up dont get the cheap ones they will fall apart.

n o proble , you can run mike level 150-200 feet without loss , make sure the connectors are good since there are the problems

Get me the materials i'll solder um up and make um for free, get a big roll of cable a few newtek connectors and your set... you do gotta deliver and pick up though... but we in the same borough cant be far Peecd HTTP://LEBROZ.COM LEBROZ James Takin Ova
