XLR Channel 2 problem

I am having some problem with the DVX100B Channel 2 inputs. No sound is coming in whatsoever after I try every setting.

The only time there is sound coming in is when I use the built in mic on Input R. I tried every possible combination I could think of: connect different mics, plug them into XLR 1 / XLR 2 , switch the on Channel to every possible combination and switch the Inputs to every possible combination.

No Sound from Channel 2! Is it possible I could have shocked it or damaged my Panasonic DVX100B XLR Channel 2 port or that the product is defective. I ordered it a few months ago and never tested it till now. Can I ship it back for a replacement or a fix. And where do I do this?

Here are some things you can try to narrow down the problem.

1. Does your mic require phantom power? If so, make sure you turn Input 2 to on.

2. Try using another XLR cable. Maybe the one you are using is shot.
