i use a dvc30 and am planing on filming in a courtroom, the problem is, i dont have a mic (other then the one in the camera). my question is, would i be ok with a mic mounted on the camera ( like a rode videomic) or would it be worth it to go all out and pay 200 for the xlr adapter and then buy a xlrmic amd make a boom?
