Xl2 image flip

Is there any way to flip the xl2 image without physically fliping the viewfinder. I know the screen doesnt flip when pointed towards the subject but when the Xl2 is turned upside down something is telling it to flip the image, so shouldn't there be a way?

Screw the viewfinder and the mic the other way!!! BACKWARDS

sorry for not being clear enough, that is what i meant by another way than physically flipping the viewfinder, i dont want the mic and viewfinder to be screwed on the other way, i find it annoying to work with, things get in the way when the lcd is opened etc.

You could try a magnet (not sure if it works for the xl), but never hurts to try!!

I have tried but if there is a spot that will work i either cant find it or i dont have the right type of magnet.

Hey you can always buy a monitor for the hot shoe AND FLIP IT!! That's what I'M doing.

Yep it's a GL2, and the page has a link "How to flip the display". My guess is that the XL2 is the same.

i'm appalogize all i saw was the image (my flash must not have been working) It wont due any good however since the lcd on the xl2 doesnt work the same as the gl2

things get in the way when the lcd is opened etc.

Then close the LCD?

not always an option to look through the viewfinder (ex when panning on a tripod)
