I know it's not dvx100a but since I've sold my xl1s and bought xl2 I thought "Why not showing my last xl1s achievement?" It's still in post-production so for now just a trailer.

Film is definitely not for any contest. Made just for fun before exams. that's way it's filled with copyrighted music... :)

Stills look awesome! Especially those 3 fluoro lit ones near the middle. As for the video, the shots in the greenish fluoro scenes looks really good and also some of the blueish shots, but as for the others they seemed a bit too video-y for my liking.

Still, good work

yeah... I know. It was 50i (frame mode is a big mistake imho) so after MagicBullet, some CC and effects it got some taste but still it's xl1s... also after so many things it lost resolution and became blurry. Anyways I'm happy I bought xl2 cause I was dying for the last 6 months when I joined dvxuser.com and saw "panny" stills.

Thanks for feedback and wait till after summer holidays for xl2 short/feature :)

:) :) It is all I can do with this program: change the light and export... :) everything else is AE

Ah yeah, cool. I'm assuming you used MB on those green fluoro shots? Love that look. Also love the DOF in the first green shot, with the gun. Looking forward to this XL2 short/feature, I've been quite impressed with the XL2 from that Marina clip and also the Holy Zoo Adapter stuff.

Good stuff navitas! You obviously have some talent. It will be interesting to see what you do in 24p (Or 25p) and the newer technology. I enjoyed this; nice CC and tight editing and you photography was nice too.
