Not sure if this is where this goes, nonetheless, just wanted to share with the good people here at DVXuser.com since they have helped me with alot of information and tutorials.

Had a shoot this weekend, last second needed gear and as most rental shops here in the Southern California area are closed, i thought i was pretty much SOL. Went back to this indie rental shop that i had gone to early last year and once again they came thru with everything i needed for a great price. Just wanted to share the info with anybody else
in the Socal area who is need of gear. Check these guys out.

Unfortuantely I can't say the same about them. I had a horrible experience when renting a complete Red package for a planned 6 days. I reserved a complete Red package a good amount of time ahead of a shoot. After not getting back to me to answer some basic questions, they wrote me a short email the evening before pick-up day, telling me that they didn't get the camera back in time from anonther production and therefore won't be able to rent it to me! There wasn't even an apology, and they should have at least called me instead of writing an email. I couldn't believe it, we already aranged insurance and payment etc.! A good rental house in my opinion would just subrent a package from another rental house, but certainly not let it's customers hanging last minute... I definitely wont rent from them again....

I guess it happens...sorry to hear that. I can only speak for myself, and i was very happy...but i guess thats why theres forums like this...to share information for everybody
