WWII Photo Archive?!

[mjmcneese]

I'm asking for a friend who's producing a WWII Memorial Doc for his church. He needs a few WWII shots (faces, lifestyle, etc) and heard about some Public Domain archive, can't find it, and neither can I. Anyone?

Try this: http://www.archives.gov/research/ww2/

You can also find a ton of newsreels here in MPEG-2 format--

http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=world war AND mediatype:movies
