Shot in DVCPro HD w/the HVX-200, Editing in a 720/24p timeline, exporting to compressor: Width: 640 Height: 360, but for some reason when it's done, it changes the way the text is placed on the screen? It only moves it slightly, but enough where it's a problem!

Can anyone give me the exact specs for Compressor to compress an HD timeline in the best quality, at about 1.45Mbps? Keeping the exact aspect ratio as in my FCP project??

Thank you so much! This project is being delivered via the web, so it's sooo important..

Settings depend on the size of your project, what format you want to encode it to, etc.

Now, does it change the aspect ratio or pixel aspect ratio of your project (does everything look squished or streched), or is the text just off of it's mark?

If the former, just make sure you use the preview window to check the settings before you export it. If the latter, I would try exporting a quicktime movie as a self-contained movie using the project settings. Then drag that file into Compressor to downconvert. But remember--use the preview window. (I'm sorry to harp on that so much, but I've waited hours for things to export only to have them come out with the wrong PAR or whatever. Frustrating... Must breathe...)
