Wrong numbers.

Seems everywhere I move, people end up calling my phone and leaving messages repeatedly thinking I'm this or that company. In Los Angeles it was Calidoza Construction. In Glendale, some old lady kept calling asking for her medication, no matter how many times I told her she had the wrong number. Here in Canada, I get Avco Moving at least once a week. For about a month once, people kept calling my wife's cell phone asking about drug deals. Anybody else get these?

Yeah, about 4 to 8 times a day. Mostly credit collectors looking for a guy that does not live here. We've called them and sent them mail back but they must figure we're bogus so it keeps on coming.

We get calls from all over North America. Texas, North Carolina, Calgary, Ontario ofcourse.
We can't answer long distant calls now unless we know the number before hand so we know who it is (via call display).

That's a land line. Pretty sore to be paying $45 a month for this crap.

BWAA-HAA-HAA:evil: I have been filling out those contest entry forms with your name and number on them, Gord.

I used to get a call from Volkswagen credit once a week. They were looking for a debtor named coincidentally Paul. I would answer and they would say Paul and I would say yes and then they would begin to tell me all the horrible things they were going to do to me. At first I tried to convince them I was not Paul R. that they were looking for but Paul Hudson. They would not listen. Eventually I just let them go off on there tirade as I set the phone down. I would come back five minutes later and hang up.
