wrong mac drive partition... need help!

by mistake (big one) I partitioned the wrong hard drive, with all my clients editing projects, footage, etc... no formating process happened, just partitioned the drive and reboot, so in theory al the zeros and ones still there... can I recover those files?
I'm on MAC OS 10.6.02 and used disk utility to partition the drive... tried File Salvage software but did not help.

Sorry to give you the bad news, but you're out of luck. You might send it to a drive recovery service, but they will charge you quite a lot of money regardless of whether they can recover the data or not, and they probably can't .
