Writing up bids for the upcoming year.

With 2006 coming in a matter of hours, I want to get a jump on putting together some proposals or bids for various possible projects that will happen throughout the year. I was told that most companies do their budgets for the year in January so I want to get on the ball. Is there any website online I can go to for help on writing a good bid/proposal? Is there an organization that can write one up for me If I need to go that route? If so how much do you think they would charge and where would I find such organization?

Are you looking for some boiler-plate caveats, or do you think that you can write a generic proposal and just submit it in hopes someone hires you? EVery one of my corporate proposals is custom-tailored to the needs of the project and the style of the client. First we meet each other, they agree that they have a need, we discuss the specifics, and I write something up. About a page opf standard stuff like terms, ownership, etc, but the rest can be in one of many styles. It usually looks like a treatment with some terms (and pricing estimates) attached to it.
