Yesterday was my first time writing to DVD DL. The reason is to fit in a 3.5 hour of an annual dinner video.
Wasted 2 pcs of it... those discs are really expensive. about USD 4 per pc here in Malaysia.
First one was the problem with the LG writer. 2nd one was burned using mac os system. But the final part of the movie couldn't be read from the standalone player. The last part is about 10 minutes. besides that everything is fine.
Now I've made my decision not to try anymore and turned to using 2 discs instead. But really I would like to learn my lesson here. What and where is my problem?
My workflow :
REnder using Premiere pro > Convert to Mpeg using TMPGE > Menu using Encore DVD 2.0 > Burn using Nero Burning ROM
The movie was encoded on 4800 kbit/s.
