Wrath of the Titans

This actually looks like it could be good. The first was s..t, so it'll at least have a good chance of being an improvement on s..t.

(everyone else seems to hate it, but I love the song use.)

I am okay that I wasn't involved in doing the trailer title for this one. 510 hours of overtime is plenty for this year for me.

However, I am upset that the new one doesn't shatter. It just kinda seethes with fire or something. That is not good enough.

If titans clash, things should fall apart.

If titans get wrathful, things DEFINITELY need to fall apart. Because of their wrath.

Maybe they are not truly wrathful, but instead just mildly upset?

Release the Kraken!

Haha, the really difficult thing for me was holding myself back from re-running my title scene file with different text to make fake titles for all of those Kraken memes :) But then I would probably never work in the trailer business again. So, yeah, decided against it.

Maybe they just stepped on a tack.

You've got a good point, though, the title just kind of sits there smoldering angrily. Also, there's no Kraken shot. 1:53 comes close, but not really. Maybe the second trailer will reveal a little more, though compared to COTT's first trailer, this one's basically already at stage 2.

I just watched the original Clash of the Titans...I miss the days when PG rated fantasy films could get away with showing us some titty and booty.

Amen brother. The 80s had a lot of good things going on.

This could only be better than the last remake. Not only did it have some lame additions (riding scorpions, etc.), but the 3D was poorly done with focus/layer problems during many parts of the film.

It looks like the new one borrowed heavily from the game series God of War.

I will probably see this since I'm a sucker for mythology and popcorn flicks. I'm probably a masochistic sucker since the previous one was one terrible cinema experience. Plot holes, non-sensical action, bland characters that were as 2D as they could get, and unimaginative plot. Absolutely terrible film.

What this second one has going for it is the story's "universe" and a great cast. Hope they brought good writers with it. Who's directing? The previous one was famous for having lots of rewrites and if I remember correctly different directors.

As for the trailer... Come on, seriously, "Sweet Dreams" from Marilyn Manson? Nothing against the musician, but getting a 90'ies song that's a "remake" of an 80'ies song to promote a "New" film after the disaster that was the previous "remake" is ironic to say the least...
