Hi Guys....so, I've got a job coming up shooting at a convention and it's going to be very run and gun. I'm to shoot interviews indoors and outdoors, and I suspect a lot of the decisions about who should be interviewed will be made on the spot. There will not be time for me to bring in a proper lighting setup. My concern is that some of the indoor spaces may be poorly lit, and I was wondering if something like this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ..._Mini_LED_Daylight_Camera.html#specifications would be useful in this scenario.
I know that on-camera lighting is not ideal, but if I get someone to hold the dedo off to the side as a key, and then use my reflectors on the other side for a bit of fill off it, would I get a reasonable result do you think? And if there's not even enough room or time for that, then would putting it on the camera still be better than nothing? I've seen stuff people have shot with on-camera lighting which has really looked hideous, so I'm a bit worried about it.
