In my opinion, it wouldn't. I've decided I'm no longer comfortable recommending Briteks. Buy used lights from arri, mole-richardson, and in some cases Lowel if you're on a budget.
You get what you pay for. If you want some disposable lights for one shoot, go for them. If you want a real tool that will last you a few years and will give you professional results without a lot of compromise, there are many better solutions.
Chimera makes a sweet 500 watt light that comes with the light, speedring, small Chimera lightbank, 40 degree egg crate, stand and a nice case to carry it all in for $525.00. Combine this as your key source with a Lowel ProLight, a light stand, a 36" Flexfill and couple of used C-Stands, some Cinefoil and a couple of sandbags and you have a full, simple, starter lighting kit that will last you for years and is professional enough that you will still want to use it for years to come.
You can put a real kit like this together for under $1,000.00 with some careful shopping and you have the real deal, not the Britek/HomeDepot Worklight/JTL syndrome that affects so many newbies and broke people who want to light.
