Worst idea ever!!!!!!!!

That really is the worst idea ever. I think I'll steal a taxi and drive it off a bridge if this actually goes into production.
 
It's a bad idea but the sad part is Scorsese and De Niro will take some studio or investment fund for millions, they will get pre paid.
 
What do they mean De Niro doesn't look 66. I saw him recently without makeup and he looked every BIT of it and then some.
 
I wonder if Jodie Foster will return as well.

EDIT: You know, maybe they intend to do what Sam Raimi did with Evil Dead 2, and just make it a half remake / half sequel, but with slapstick.
 
Taxi Driver is "arguably (Scorsese's) greatest achievement"?

Goodfellas is his greatest achievement. No argument about it.
 
They're doing a sequel... called "Valet Man!"

I have NO idea why they'd remake Taxi Driver... other then nostalgia... which is a very real motivator...
 
You can't even make the same movie anymore. Taxi Driver was like a time capsule of the seedy Times Square area of NY in the 70's, which has since been Disneyfied beyond recognition.
