Worst Film I've ever seen in my life. Shot on RED.

A few questions:

How did they get it to look so flat and videoish?
Why did they not use REAL ACTORS!!??!
Why didn't they...? AAh, forget it. Just about everything they did on this film was wrong.
Some people should just not be allowed near a camera.

Made on $3500 and it shows. Maybe the story overcomes but I don't have time to watch something that's crap right now and a brief dip of the toe shows that it is. But OTOH, 81 likes to 110 dislikes....not a scientifically valid sample size but that's still 42%, there's lower rated films on RT. I'd personally sooner watch this than Pearl Harbour again (which I only watched to see if the reputation was true :zombie_smiley: <-- how Pearl Harbour makes me feel).

It's very bad, and not in the so bad it's entertaining way that Birdemic is. I did like the dinosaurs at about 40:00.

Nothing like a clock ticking to remind you of how long you've been looking at something and seeing nothing. I only lasted until a minute and twenty seconds.

it goes to show you can take a $3500 budget and make it look like it was shot on $30.50

At least the clock at the beginning literally timed how long you had to sit there and stare at nothing.

As for it being shot on RED, well, there's no magic button on any camera which makes the people using it competent.

Oddly enough it's the most interesting thing on my screen right now. 7 mins into it I might try and watch the rest. I'm not sure what that says about my life though. Maybe I'll make some bacon and eggs too and watch along also. tick....tick....tick....

Okay, I partly lied there. I don't have any bacon. And, mmmmm, I don't have any eggs. And, uh, I probably won't watch all of it. But , whatever.

A feature? Joe? Like that?

I should really get some laundry done today. Kinda backed up in that department. Maybe I'll pick up some bacon and eggs while I'm out. Hard to say.

All the Reds I've used have a DP button. It is red. I think there are two of them on the Red One.

The acting did it for me. The Elvis hairstyle also was kind of distracting. Maybe a bad Elvis impersonator as lead actor ( complete with costumes and all ) would have saved this film actually.
