Worst building evar

Its so great that you could even make a film about it.
I mean something about the gate for other worlds and that kind of ghost related mystical films.
 
Hmmm...I was thinking "Blade Runner" before I even watched the YouTube movie at the bottom of the article.

And I don't have a problem with our world morphing into a "Los Angeles 2019" quasi-futuristic cityscape. :happy:

That thing looks like something out of a really bad sci-fi movie.

I wonder what happened to the guys who screwed up the construction. They probably were handed a fine or something, maybe sued by the government to recover the funds. (sarcasm off).

Has anyone seen that building there making in Dubai right now?

This thing is going to be crazy big.

I wonder what the real polls would say? Maybe this is a great way to bring attention to a fairly pedestrian project. Had the thread (and article) said that this was supposed to be a really cool building we'd probably all be saying it was ugly... but reading that it was a crap-project I too expected something else... and I gotta' join the flow in saying "I like it" also.

The bizarre outer structure, with it's separately rising peaks, tells me that the inner architecture must be interesting. How cool must the view be in those suites on the peaks?

4-sided view of the city as well as cinematic view of the hotel you're staying in? Yes please.

the scary thing is, they are planning on making one even bigger than that in dubai. supposedly the al burj is going to be over 200 floors.

Man, that is cool stuff.

Since were making these massive 200 story buildings now, when are we going to get the flying car? I was promised flying cars.

Dubai has got some really awesome projects, espcially this...

You guys find the building to be nice? Sure it looks like blade runner or from coruscant, but it just looks off, and doesn't fit with the surrounding area. I'm not a fan of the building.

Is it Dubai that's doing the palm tree island resort thing, just like the pic above, but a palm tree instead?
 
They have several projects like this... there was a second Palm Jizz-eera (sp?) that is way way bigger.

Let's face it... Dubai is very happening.

Jeez... I wonder who's paying for all that? *Ding* *Ding* *Ding*... a hundred bucks to fill up my truck? Oh yeah... that's right... we are.
