To all my fellow Diabetics out there... happy world diabetes day!
(still feels odd celebrating a day like today.. but I'm just gonna roll with it.)
I do all the video work for and am part of an awesome group called Connected in Motion. A group dedicated to outdoor experiential (Type-1) diabetes education. Seeing as it is World Diabetes Day today (Nov 14) I thought I would share a video I shot / edit that shows three years of cool stuff we've done.
This is a Canadian group but we have participants from all over including the US, and welcome anyone interested to get in touch and get involved with us.
This was created for a fundraiser we just recently held; feel free to check out the other videos in our youtube channel.
In 2012 we are expanding out west and are always looking for new opportunities to engage people in some outdoor adventures!
