Wow.. So these are like classes you can take which can teach you the various aspects of film.. without having to go to film school?

To bad I live in Southern Indiana..

yeah , thanks , i really want to go there next semester...some folks here in Brazil told me about Maine Workshosp , and i really liked it by reading what they offer..and i'd search all over the internet and could not find anything like Maine...

i pretend to initially make the camera op and assist , and lighting.

thnaks all...

i think this is more for people who already work indirectly with cinema .
Video , TV and already has a lot experience and want to bring it up to a new level.
I'm graduated in TV school. and work with video cameras for 8 years now.
And 3 years ago started to photography shorts with friends and study a lot about film and HD cameras...
i own a HVX and brevis35 and i'm working doing making ofs for comercial films here in Brasil , and want to be in a camera department...
but dont have the practical experience , hands on a film camera or high end HD cameras.

i made recently a very nice job for a big publicitary film .
