Working with Vegas AND FCP? Help?

So I'm in preproduction on a collaborative project. I'll be shooting on a DVX in 24PA and capturing and editing on a PC in Vegas 8. After the edit is locked, it'll be going out to a guy who's using a G5 Mac and he'll be doing some coloring, compositing, etc. in FCP and Shake. Any suggestions on workflow or format? I'm primarily concerned about FCP and Shake having qualms with the file type and frame rate. Any suggestions on what format I should use for render? We've got portable drives and a Terastation so file size shouldn't be an issue. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

framerate shouldn't be an issue. fcp and shake are both fine with all the popular rates. the problem usually stems from the file type. most pc based stuff i've gotten from others has been in avi format. the mac likes quicktime format so maybe you can export as quicktime. or....you could print back to tape and recapture on the mac.
