I've been working with Latex and makeup, and own special effects for 5 years or so now. And Im looking at going back to school but to work with Visual effects, But alot of my friends who also work in film are saying i should look into classic special effects. Bettering my crafts with molding/modeling, blood, so on. Does anyone have a suggestion other than trying to find a internship or apprenticeship to someone in the field who does this for a living? I can keep getting books and videos, but is there anyplace or people or person that can be sought out to teach or learn from?
