Working with Flash and Premiere Pro CS3

I am used to working with Flash so I did an animated map in Flash. The map looks great in Flash but when I export it in .avi or .mov and then import in Premiere (even though I choose the best quality), the quality is poor (letters not well defined etc.) They also ask for a specific no of pixels which I don't know what to put for it to be compatible with Premiere. Would it be easier to do the map in After Effects. would it be more compatible with Premiere?

Hi I don't know much about flash but I have been using After Effects with Premiere a lot using the Adobe Dynamic Link option (CS3) and as long as you render out your project at high quality it looks great when used in Premiere.
