I editing a musicvidio and was wonder whats the best order to work in.

im thinking of doing a little color correction.

A few shots have effects on them.

And I', letterboxing it 2.35.

Should I edit first, color correct, add my effects, then letter box? Should i do effects first? How do u normally do it.

Also Does anyone no where i can download a clean 2.35 matte of some sort to place on top? And since I'm here can anyone tell me off hand how to add the matte?

I would do it in about that order, though color correction will be a continual process (after the editing). For letterboxing, you can always just make one in Photoshop, if you have it. The easiest way (I think) is to create the box in photoshop and create an alpha channel to go along with it. Then, when you are in final cut, make the alpha channel the transparent channel. There is an option to create letterboxing under effects that you can also modify the size of the letterbox.
