I've always just edited in a "normal" 29.97 sequence.
Editing programs don't differentiate between 60i and 30p source material. Because 30p is written as 60i to tape (the same progressive frame is repeated twice, rather than have two interlaced frames).
The problem with using the normal 29.97 sequence preset is that it would convert my progressive footage into interlaced footage. I want to work with 30 frames progressive. Any suggestions?
I know they have the 30 frames progressive sequence present in Final Cut for HD footage, but I can't find it for non HD footage. Help!
