Working remotely with the cloud

With the creadtive coud subscription is there any way or somewhere a persone can put a session so a second person can pull up the session to continue working on it in a different location?
 
You could try a VNC/remote desktop client, though I'm not sure how well that would work.
 
I'm not sure either. We're hoping he i can put the session somewhere in which he can retrive and continue it on his compuyer at another house.
 
His computer would only be a client - all the processing would be done on the computer with local access to the media. No way you can transfer footage over the internet.
 
That was actually really cool. thank you for sharing. I just don't know if he can pull up the session at his place or if I have to export the current video and he imports it then adds to it.
 
Something that wasn't clear in the video is that at some point they had to send the footage to everyone that needed it. Once everyone has the media then you can swap project files back and fourth.
 
Yes it's definitely possible. I've done it, but it was a proprietary solution made by this company called Otoy. It was still in the testing stages and the quality and responsiveness wasn't great. However, I was able to edit just using FireFox without any of the media on my computer.
 
I would recommend BTSync for transferring footage across the internet. It's way faster than dropbox or FTP since there is no server side, it's just direct connection to the computers that are connected through it. I would recommend if you do use this service, that you disable the "Store deleted files in SyncArchive" otherwise it will store all deleted files in this hidden folder and you'll wonder why you can't free up space.
