WORKING Production Stills from Lee's Film

Sorry about that guys, here is a set of working production stills
from Harper is Missing

All this stuff with the exception of my DVX was rented. If you wanted to buy all of it , it would cost you $80,000. And if you rent it , you need production insurance.

But it all worked out and we got an excellent deal from Steve at Du-All Camera in NYC. Feel free to contact me if you have questions. Also i'll be doing another short starting in March so lemme know if you would like to crew.

aim: LJC108 email : lee@planetlee.net

PS: i will post when post production has been completed.

We looked at the EZFX jib for our last production and went with a PortaJib instead. What has your experience been with that system?

Re: WORKING Production Stills from Lee's Film

oh man the EZFX jib was really great. So easy to set up, we did it in literally 3 minutes. It was quite smooth also. I reccomend it. However, it was the only jib I've ever really worked with. But i felt it was great.

Re: WORKING Production Stills from Lee's Film

how much is the 35mm adapter, the 35mm lens and the mattebox?

Re: WORKING Production Stills from Lee's Film

Cool behind-the-scenes pix, Lee. Looking forward to seeing a trailer.

Just wondering where you purchased production insurance, how much it cost, and how long did you buy the coverage for?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Re: WORKING Production Stills from Lee's Film

What mattebox is that? That thing is a monster. Also what's the rest of your lens set up?

Re: WORKING Production Stills from Lee's Film

How many days did you shoot for? How much did it cost for the whole shoot for renting and insurance? Nice pics, I love to see prod stills. Tim.

Re: WORKING Production Stills from Lee's Film

hey guys,

I rented from this guy steve at du-all camera,NYC
http://www.duallcamera.com

he gave me an awesome deal on a package

if you ever use him, tell him Lee Citron sent ya

for pickup on 1/14 and drop off on 1/18 our package costed $800

it included

mini35 adapter
18mm prime lens
Angenieux 20-120mm T2.6 3'6" zoom lens
Arri 4x4 3 Stage Swing Away mattebox
follow focus
(5) filters
sony field monitor
battery for monitor
5 dvx 5 hour batteries (also needed for adapter)
skateboard dolly with a buncha track
ezfx jib with 50 pounds of weight
minimole lighting kit

all the equipment was valued at $80,000 consequently to rent any
of this we needed the insurance

Complex Corporation is a company that offered me some for dirt cheap

It only cost $300 to cover all that equipment and general liability for
our shoot, (needed to get ANY location)

They are kind of bitchy over the phone, but well worth it, for $300 bucks!!

Ask for student discount.

The whole production cost about $3100 total, we rented some other supplies from other houses in NYC. Steve didn't have the grip stuff and the sound stuff we wanted.

hope this helps, feel free to e-mail me at lee@planetlee.net if you have
any questions.

Also, i'm available as a DP if you need for any unpaid collaboration
We can rent all that stuff again also.

Re: WORKING Production Stills from Lee's Film

Heres another cool still,
It was taken in Harper Headquarters, aka my garage

It shows how easy it is to mount the fluid head onto the jib
You can also see in the background some of the food service
hundreds on bottled waters and cups and what not.
