I just got my FS-100 and am going crazy trying to make it work with the camera settings...
Has anybody been able to make it work properly? (record-playback-copy to HD).
Any help will be highly appreciated.

There are several threads about this and it does work. Quickly, camera must be in a compatible record mode like 720/24p, camera 1394 in external mode, FS100 in tapeless mode. May have to hit record button on FS once to get into the standby mode. You'll see red record and pause icon on camera LCD. I have to run but try this and again, there are threads detailing this, do a search for Firestore.
I searched for answers on the issue but they are all very confusing and but for one, none helped my situation.
Is anyone using the HVX200 and the FS-100 who can give me some indications on how to set up the system properly in order for it to record and playback correctly?
