Workflow 24p 50p problem.

Hi.. Long time reader first time writer.

I have recently shoot with the 7D a Beach volley ball comp. About 90% the footage was shot on 720 50p to allow for smooth Slo-mo, if needed. And a few shoots were on 1080 24p.

I am using Premiere CS3

What project settings should I go with in premiere. 24p or 50p timebase?

The idea was to have normal speed footage along side with slow-mo on the same time line?
How do I go about it?

Thanks very much for your help.

have encountered a new problem. I have put all the fotage (24p and 50p) on a 24p time line. The scenes I wanted as slo-mo I have interpret from 50p to 24p, and that works great. The problem is scenes that were left at 50p and exported to 24p look really strange. They look like they are fast forwarded. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.

Yea i tried exporting it..Still looks funny. the converted 24p (SLO-MO) looks great and the original 50p looks like it has been speed up.

I mean it should be pretty basic, to place original 50p along side converted 50p (into 24p) on a 24p timeline..I am sure it has been done before..
i just don't why the 50p looks speed up..

any ideas?

btw
I exoprt the whole thing as 24p
