Workaround for parts for the discontinued mmb1

I got the mmb1 this year before knowing they discontinued it and its parts. I need the accessory that allowed it to clamp to lens diameter 114mm or smaller or the 143mm conversion plate. Any suggestions to getting this to work? Thinking about 3d designing the 143mm conversion bAckplate, just would have to know how to.do that

I'm surprised that the step-down rings aren't available. I thought a lot of them were "universal". I have an MMB-1 and love it. I was sent an MMB-2 to use while I waited on my 1 and I thought it was kind of a joke of a MB. More of just a filter holder than for light control. The 1 feels almost like a mini version of my MB-20 II.

Totally agree with that comparison to the mb20. Im really looking into creating my own backplate. Im creating fixtures for my led kit, I see no reason to not do it for this ifnif I ncant find the part
