at the hospital my wife works at, the employees were recently told they can't take any personal time off for the rest of the year. my wife has accumulated a couple of weeks of paid PTO. legally, can they do this?
I have no idea - but I'm just curious, are they telling them the time off they have accumulated will not carry over into next year on top of that?
If so, they're effectively just taking it away.
Bring your wife down here, and my wife will get her a great job at a good hospital, AND a sign on bonus. Then you and me can dump the wives off at work, and get drunk at EPCOT![]()
tonight my wife asked her supervisor about situations when an employee gets sick. they told her that if she was sick they would not pay her for days missed even though she has time accumulated to cover it. what the hell is that?
