Anybody else find P2 Management sofware hard to get one's head around.
I understand there are organizational benefits.
But does anyone else find it less complicated to just pop P2 card into PCMCIA slot on a laptop in the field and save files to a couple of external hard drives. Drop the raw footage onto the editing machine and sort things out.
 
It works when you have more people involved than just a shooter/editor.

Structure allows all clips to be in the right place at the right time when you put it all together.
